FEBW HEAVY METAL SERIES
The FEBW Series heavy metals reducers from Sterling® are specially designed to reduce the contaminant level in water below the EPA MCL. The FEBW Series models are affordable and efficient to operate in reducing unwanted arsenic, lead & other heavy metals form your household water.
FEST Tannin Reduction Series removes iron, hardness and tannins. “Tea” color is removed from water by an anion resin designed exclusively to remove tannin. A brine solution is automatically flushed through the system every few days to clean the resin of iron, hardness and tannin. Dead vegetation is responsible for the tannin causing tea color. Although not harmful the discoloration is obnoxious. Back-lighted display shows time of day and gallons remaining before regeneration. A constantly recharging battery maintains the time of day setting during power outages for up to two weeks. All other settings are permanently stored.
FSN Nitrate Reduction Series provide whole house removal of hazardous nitrates from your water. A robust control valve manages the cleaning of the nitrate specific resin with salt water. These systems are available in residential and commercial sizes. Although nitrates may not be harmful to adults they pose a real risk to young children and unborn fetus.
The KLX2 Series Problem Water reduce iron, manganese and sulfur. The system does not require a chemical regenerant or air compressor. A simple to use stainless steel bypass valve allows you to water the lawn or garden with untreated water. Reliability is built into the straight forward, simple mechanical timer control.
The KLX2E Series Problem Water do not require a chemical regenerant or air compressor. An electronic control valve initiates periodic backwashing in order to clean the filter media. Iron, manganese and sulfur are all filtered as a solid in the filter media. Programming is done with the push of a button. A stainless steel bypass valve is simple to use and allows you to isolate the system during lawn watering.
