Description
PFA or Polyfluoroalkyl substances are a range of chemicals that have been in widespread use since the 1940’s. Often referred to as ‘forever chemicals’ these substances do not degrade naturally and are the by-products of non-stick coatings, firefighting foams and other industrial activities that have over time seeped into our water supply. By using a combination of different media’s, the DSF-PFOA can reduce both the long-chain and short-chain versions of PFA’s. This system comes with a brushed nickel faucet and all the fittings necessary for installation. An auto shut-off water meter is also installed to prevent the filters overuse and ensure timely replacements.
