PCS1 series of backwashing carbon filters reduce chlorine and chloramines found in municipal water supplies. These units feature our best valve controller and come in a variety of different sizes that can fit any size of home.
The PCS1 series is built with our top-of-the-line control valve that offers a wide variety of additional programming and diagnostic features. It is also built with two different types of carbon that work together to remove the Chlorine and Chloramines commonly used in a cities’ sanitation efforts. These chemicals taste and smell are a common annoyance, and they can also reduce the life of the rubber seals found inside of our modern appliances.
The KLX2E Series Problem Water do not require a chemical regenerant or air compressor. An electronic control valve initiates periodic backwashing in order to clean the filter media. Iron, manganese and sulfur are all filtered as a solid in the filter media. Programming is done with the push of a button. A stainless steel bypass valve is simple to use and allows you to isolate the system during lawn watering.
