Description
Chlorine and Chloramines are all common by-products of municipal sanitation. While they are useful for sterilization and help keep down bacterial growth in service lines, their taste and smell are a common annoyance. Furthermore, the presence of these chemicals in our water supply also causes additional wear on the rubber seals inside of our appliances as the chemicals eat into rubber and break it down over time. The SCS1 is built with two different types of carbon that work together to remove these chemicals and return water to its prior state before the municipal sanitation plant.
