The SWS1-HE series softeners offer a 30% savings in salt consumption over the standard water softener. This series features an ion exchange resin that has higher kinetics, which more efficiently removes hardness and iron from water. Meaning that more capacity is achieved with less salt. You not only save money, but the overall amount of water consumption and the burden of salt replenishment are greatly reduced.
The DF CHLORAMINE Filters contain activated carbon specifically designed to remove chloramines from water. Chloramines are a mixture of chlorine and ammonia, which is a stronger, longer lasting disinfectant. It is becoming widely used by municipal water systems. Rubber toilet flappers and faucet seals can deteriorate due to this stronger sanitizer. These filters are easy to install and do not require electricity or a drain.
The OXY3E Iron Filters reduce staining, eliminate odors, and protect the plumbing system. This two tank oxidation system has a substantial air reserve to precipitate iron without a frequent backwash requirement. This saves on the amount of water used to clean the filter and the amount discharged to a septic or sewer system. It also allows for a long retention time for complete precipitation. These filters have to perform in very rough water conditions, so a very powerful and robust control valve is employed. These filters also have the ability to raise the pH of acidic water. A large fill port makes media replenishment very easy, if the raw water has a low pH. No air compressors or chemicals are required.
